their crop’s progress, growth rate, health and yield. Up-to-date
information on the ginseng market will also be provided, as well as cost
projections comparing industry averages. Ongoing liaison with GGL representatives

Added Value Products and Marketing
GGL has developed a range of value added ginseng-based
products, and actively sells whole ginseng roots and dried ground ginseng
powder. We are investing in the establishment of viable markets, both nationally
and internationally for these products. This process is critical to the
successful establishment of a New Zealand Ginseng industry.
Numerous new industries such as Goat and Ostrich Farming have failed in their attempt to establish themselves as viable export industries. We believe this is a result of low levels of investment in marketing and product development, which has led to failure in securing significant markets to provide consistent demand.
